Bill Clarke RIP

 

Yesterday, I heard the sad news of the death of my former Royal Oak teammate, Bill Clarke.

Bill was an avid quizzer who, despite the ravages of Parkinson’s disease, showed extraordinary courage and determination to continue participating in the Quiz League and in other quizzes despite enormous difficulties. His brain remained amazingly sharp while, physically, his health was failing terribly.

Bill’s funeral will be held at Wilford Hill Crematorium, Nottingham, on the 25th of July at 1 pm.
