Would you like to join an existing team and play in the League next season? The Dew Drop B, who play at the Dew Drop Inn in Ilkeston, are looking for two new players. They’re a friendly bunch with extra benefit that the Dew Drop is a CAMRA award winning pub.

The team will be playing at home on Wednesday 10th April if you want to go along.  We’ll add email contact details for captain Steve  Barnett soon.

More Brains For Britain

The return of BBC Radio 4’s Brain of Britain means a chance to hear some Derbyshire voices.

BBC Radio 4 Brain of Britain, begins on Monday 25th March at 3.00pm, and is repeated the following Saturday night and subsequently on the i-player and BBC Sounds.

Ian Parkes is on the second heat, broadcast from Monday 1st April.

Stephen Hatcher is on the third heat, broadcast from Monday 8th April.

Both Ian and Stephen play for the Royal Oak, Ockbrook.
